Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify trends within department to help reach and exceed sales and margin plan
- Developing a long-term strategy to improve the supplier base for the assigned commodities and services
- Ensure effective client research and warehouse management regulations are used with best execution
- Manage the cost reduction program. Communicate closely with cash flow management to handle inventory costs
- Handle new goods and product range
- Consult purchasing processes to support customer
- Operate very closely with team to provide information regarding the competition, potential vendors, pricing forecast and distribution issues
Personal capabilities:
- Ability to disclose, settle a wide range of technical and none-technical problems
- Ability to identify and implement best in class technology
- Ability to work with all levels of management, communicate externally
