The next step is to make the application once all the documents are ready. A representative of the Department will receive your application. Once the application is received, it will take a few weeks to be approved depending on how complex or simple the project is. The forms will be distributed and reviewed by the appropriate departments. After a few weeks depending on the type of your plan, the plan reviewer will send you feedback after the review has been completed. The inspector will list all the things you have to look into before the license is issued. In case your plan has been approved with no corrections, you will go to the next step.

If your application needs some amendments, it is wise to resolve the issues as soon as you can so that the process can continue. Usually, the process is put on hold until all the resolutions have been made. Hence, if you want your approval to be made fast, resolve any apparent issues as soon as possible.

If the license has been approved, you will be notified of the same. Also, you will be notified of the fees you are supposed to pay. Once you have paid the fees, you can pick your warranty between Monday to Friday starting from eight o'clock in the morning up to five o'clock in the evening.

Make sure that all the necessary inspections have been made and approved. The license number must be submitted for the inspection to be made. Once all the required final inspections have been made and approved, the Department of Community Development can process the paperwork and close the permit.
